Route description
The whole trail is marked with the number 1! From Moos towards the Berghotel you turn right immediately and climb, at the bridge right again until you reach the top station of the Brugger ski lift. Here you leave the asphalt road and head right along a small and very nice little path through forest and meadows until you come to the forest road that leads to the Nemes hut. You continue for a short distance on this forest road and turn right again at the first fork. You come out of the forest, pass a bee hive and a lonely farmstead and again do a short stretch of forest before arriving, after changing direction at Signaue and the hut "Hennstoll." This place coincides with the forest road leading to Passo Monte Croce. Turn right and head back toward the beginning of Moos, cross the state road and further into Val Fiscalina Valley to the start of the Rotewand cable car. From there you briefly take path no. 102, which leads into Fiscalina Valley and at the sign turn right and join the path in the meadows. This beautiful path is followed westward and you pass the former fort Haideck, of which only remains can be seen, because it was completely destroyed during the Great War. We descend down the forest road until in a big bend starts a little path again to the left to the village of Sesto, cross the main road and change the side of the valley. We continue on to the Kiniger farms, which are between Sexten and Moos a little way up between these two farms on the edge of the forest again starts our trail back to Moos. Summary: A short hike and a long walk, doable even in sections-ideal for a half day and to get to know our valley.
